Showing your Animal

Leading:

The exhibitor should enter the ring and, following the direction of the judge, lead the animal in a clockwise direction unless told differently. Always keep the goat between yourself and the judge. The exhibitor should hold the lead in such a way as to not allow excess lead material to hang down. Both the exhibitor and animal should walk at a normal pace. The exhibitor must always watch the judge for instructions and position.

Standing and Showing:

The exhibitor should always keep the goat between himself and the judge. The animal should be set up in the most advantageous manner whenever you are stopped.

Exhibitor Behavior:

The exhibitor should be courteous, responsive and ALWAYS alert. A smile is always appreciated.
