St. Joseph County Pygmy Goat Show

CLASS 31 - SHOWMANSHIP CLASSES:
A 4-H member who has won showmanship honors in one class of goats will not be eligible to compete for the same honor until the third year after the original honor was won (as stated in the general rules of the Fair Book). Showmanship classes will begin with Senior Showmanship, Pygmy and Dairy Showmanship. Senior Pygmy and Senior Dairy will compete for round robin.
Senior Showmanship Grade 9 through 12
(Previous winners of the Junior Class move to Senior Class.)
Junior Showmanship Grade 6 through 8
Beginner Showmanship Grade 3 through 5
(Grade is determined by grade in school during the school year)
CLASS 36 - PYGMY CLASS (Age determined at Date of Show)
Section 1 Junior Doe Kid (under 3 months)
Section 2 Intermediate Doe Kid (3 months to under 6 months)
Section 3 Senior Doe (6 months to under 12 months)
Section 4 Junior Un-freshened Yearlings (12 months to under 24 months)
Section 5 CHAMPION JUNIOR DOE AND RESERVE CHAMPION JUNIOR DOE
Section 6 Freshened Yearling Doe 912 months to under 2 years)
Section 7 Two Year Old Freshened Doe
Section 8 Three and Four Year Old Freshened Doe
Section 9 Five year old and over Freshened Doe
Section 10 SENIOR CHAMPION DOE AND RESERVE CHAMPION SENIOR DOE
Section 11 GRAND CHAMPION AND RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION PYGMY DOE (Selected from Champion & Reserve Champion Jr & Sr Doe)
Section 12 Junior Pygmy Wether Class under one year of age.
Section 13 Intermediate Pygmy Wether Class one year to under 3 years.
Section 14 Senior Pygmy Wether Calss 3 years of age and over.
Section 15 GRAND CHAMPION & RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION PYGMY WETHER
(Selected from First and Second place Jr., Intermediate, & Sr. Wether)
Section 16 - MOTHER AND DAUGHTER
Mother and Daughter need to be shown in their respective classes. Daughter can either be dry or milking
(Ribbons Only).
